Andiswa Makana joined the ECCC for the annual Prestige Concert on 9 September 2011 where her performance literally raised the roof. She was a member  of the  the Eastern Cape Children’s Choir from 1997 to 1999, and later also of the Eastern Cape Youth Choir, performing as soloist in both choirs.

 She studied with Stageworld Theatre School (Port Elizabeth)  after matriculating and is currently a final year student in Voice at the Tshwane University of Technology.

 Andiswa has performed a number of roles in operas and is a member of the Black Tie Ensemble. In August this year she came third overall in the prestigious new ATKV Musiqanto Singing Competition.

 Andiswa will be joining the choir again for their performance at the Feathermarket Organ Society Christmas Concert on the 16th of December 2011.
