We started the evening, ending our short programme with (guess what) You'll Never Walk Alone. Jannie used this to make his entry and joined the choir in a beautiful rendition of this song, which has, over the years, become the choir's anthem.
He proceeded with a wonderful programme of light music, including some famous opera arias. His stories and jokes had us in stitches and we hope that the children will all now remember who NP van Wyk Louw was!
