And we're off!!!!! Over the course of a sizzling hot weekend we managed close to ten hours of rehearsals, lots of play and VERY little sleep. The 2008 choir year is now officially underway and promises to be a very good one indeed. | 20080113_02 Choir Camp

Of course it was not all work and no play. There was plenty of time for swimming, jumping on the trampolines or just sitting and watching others spend their energy. On Saturday we even had a games evening in the pouring rain! |

By Sunday morning we were ready to show our parents how hard we worked. We gave them a taste of what is to come by performing three works during a short concert. |

| 20080123_01 Summer Holidays!

Some of our choristers worked very hard at the job of having fun and relaxing these holidays. See what they've been up to... | 20080206_01 Watermelon Feast!

It has now become a tradition to treat our choristers with a watermelong feast at the beginning of our warmest month, February. Nothing better for cooling down on a hot summer afternoon. |

| 20080319_01 Parent Concert

The choir's first concert engagement is the parent concert held towards the end of the first term every year when we show our parents exactly how hard we work during rehearsals. As always, we did not disappoint, treating them to a selection from our repertoire varying from the incredibly difficult Magnificat by Agneta Skold, to newly-learnt Xhosa traditionals. | 20080518_01 Kinderchor der Stadt Halle

This past weekend the ECCC and the children's choir from Halle in Germany met for the 5th time. What a wonderful sight to see old friends meet again. Of course many new friendships were established and we hope it is not too long before we meet again! |
